Bio
I am Mattia, a Sound Engineer specialized in sound design, editing and mixing for films. I earned a BA in Audio Production at the SAE University, where I obtained mastery of a number of skill sets from Foley, sound editing, designing and mixing for Music, Film and Television industry.
I am genuinely passionate about audiovisual art and the craft of sound design. Since completion of the program, I have worked on projects that include Short Films, Feature Films and TV advertisements.
Over the years I have discovered the importance that each sound element gives to the narrative of a film from the Foley to the special effect and then to the sound environment, fundamental to the success of immersive experience is the importance of blending all the elements together creating a dynamic range that not only contributes by enhancing the visual part, but contributes to the creation of a unique cinematic universe of its own in which the viewer can relate allowing for possible connections in previous and subsequent films.
